This workshop will be held in Midland, TX, and is designed for 7th – 12th-grade STEM teachers in the Midland/Odessa area. The West Texas Energy Summit is FREE to teachers with a $50 refundable registration fee.
Over the course of two days, participants will gain access to valuable classroom resources focused on oil, gas, and energy production. The activities will highlight the engineering and technology involved in extracting and utilizing these resources. Additionally, teachers will have the opportunity to explore the industry firsthand through visits to various field locations and work sites. Upon completion of the 2-day workshop, teachers will receive a certificate providing 17 CPE hours.
