UTeach Blended Learning PD is online, self-paced, asynchronous and facilitated by expert blended learning educators. New cohorts begin each month.

For Texas public and charter school educators, TEA reimburses for the registration cost.

UTeach PD offers courses in foundational and advanced blended learning, which are beneficial for all educators, as well as a coaching and collaboration course for educators and administrators who would benefit from a learning community. We also offer two courses on project-based instruction (PBI) for further learning.

UTeach courses were developed by UTeach Master Teachers with expertise in blended learning in collaboration with Instructional Technology faculty at The University of Texas at Austin. The courses were then reviewed by experts in the field. Courses are continually modified based upon participant feedback.

UTeach offers a high-quality, research-based, facilitated online learning experience:
• Course participants work at their own pace but receive coaching and personal feedback on all assignments submitted.
• Assignment due dates are included to help keep participants on track for completion.
• Participants have on-demand access to a UTeach Success Coach and Online Course Facilitator.
• Coursework involves creating work products so that teachers can quickly implement them in their own classrooms, collaborative discussions with peers, reflection, and plans of action.
• Courses are facilitated by practicing K–12 pedagogy experts who provide personalized responses to all submitted work products in the course.
• All UTeach Professional Development is aligned to standards from the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
• Access to coursework is flexible: New participants are enrolled in coursework on a rolling basis.
