Please join us in person for dinner and active, engaging mathematics!
Zachary Miner from UT Austin will lead our April 9th session.
Title: Divisibility Rules
Description: You can probably tell at a glance when a number is divisible by 2 or 5 or 10. Maybe you also know some easy ways to tell if a number is divisible by 3 or 9. Are there also easy ways to tell if a number is divisible by 11? by 72? In this session, we’ll see why some familiar formulas are true, we’ll discover new divisibility rules for other numbers, and we’ll have fun solving problems with divisibility criteria.
Participants earn two CPE hours for each session. Please register by noon on April 8 so that we have the information needed for your CPE certificate, food order, and parking validations.
